• Our common welfare comes first. Personal recovery is strengthened by the unity of each Operation Integrity Fellowship, with other OI Fellowships and with Operation Integrity principles, practices and policies.
  • There is only one authority in every OI Fellowship — a loving God as He may express Himself in the group conscience. OI Group facilitators are not leaders. They are simple servants entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating literature and materials, receiving and administrating group collections, guiding the OI meeting process according to the OI Facilitators Guide, and communicating with OI central as needed.
  • The purpose of each OI Fellowship is to carry a message of hope and recovery to those who suffer from addictive behavior.
  • The only requirement for participation in an Operation Integrity Fellowship is the desire to recover from one’s addictions and to strengthen one’s personal integrity.
  • Each OI group is autonomous except in matters affecting other OI groups, or Operation Integrity as a whole.
  • No OI Fellowship should ever endorse, finance, or give the Operation Integrity name to any non-related facility or interest so that problems related to money, property or reputation distract us from our primary purpose.
  • Each OI Fellowship must be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions. Individuals are encouraged to invest themselves as they participate in OI meetings, and each fellowship is encouraged to contribute to OI central whenever possible.
  • Operation Integrity is a nonprofessional community of people. However, OI may employ professional experts and/or staff to work in support roles as specific needs arise.
  • Operation Integrity is a living organism, not an organization. But, we may create service boards or committees to serve the needs of the developing OI community.
  • Operation Integrity will not express opinions on outside issues related to politics, religion, commerce or social issues.  This will protect the Operation Integrity name from being drawn into public controversy. OI is a Christ centered recovery community, but not to be confused with any specific denomination. There is no limit to the scope of people we will serve.
  • Our public relations policy is based on attraction; not promotion. No individual should use OI as a platform to increase their own notoriety. And, no one individual will be considered a spokesperson for Operation Integrity. Our principles, practices, polices, testimonies and the impact of our lives will speak for us.
  • Anonymity and confidentiality are foundational to all OI principles and practices. We will always respect the confidentiality and privacy of other OI participants and remind ourselves to place principles before personalities.

This month's step
We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

This week's scripture
Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28 NLT

This week's quote
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
