Help for Spouses, Families and Loved Ones
Addiction has often been called the “Family Disease” because no family is completely free of addiction. Everyone is affected in one way or another. Relational codependency, enabling an addict’s behaviors and destructive coping mechanisms are common in an addicted family structure, and these characteristics often reinforce the addict’s behavior without the family realizing it. In order to stop the family cycle of addiction it is critical that family members, loved ones and those close to the addict have the help they need.

How Operation Integrity can help you?

Education brings insight and understanding to the perplexing problems and circumstances associated with an addicted family. Education also provides a context and perspective that helps people make empowered choices and decisions that promote movement toward recovery and health.

Operation Integrity offers weekly educational opportunities that give invaluable information about the nature of addiction, including what helps a person recover from their addictions, how loved ones can cope with an addicts behavior, and how we can be emotional healthy and happy no matter what the addict decides to do about their own life.

This month's step
We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.

This week's scripture
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
Psalm 139:23-24 NLT

This week's quote
"If the Spirit of God detects anything in you that is wrong, He does not ask you to put it right; He asks you to accept the light, and He will put it right. A child of the light confesses instantly and stands bared before God; a child of the darkness says – “Oh, I can explain that away.” When once the light breaks and the conviction of wrong comes, be a child of the light, and confess, and God will deal with what is wrong; if you vindicate yourself, you prove yourself to be a child of the darkness."
Oswald Chambers
